Submit a Film to Buried Films
Buried Films curates independent short horror films that stand out for their originality, atmosphere, and creative intent. Every film is embedded directly from YouTube and fully credited to the filmmaker.
You can submit your own film or recommend one that you think deserves more attention. All films must be publicly available on YouTube. We’ll watch every film that gets submitted, and if we think it’s a great fit, we’ll add it to the library. We may also reach back out to you for more info or a thanks for the recommendation.
As filmmakers ourselves, a huge congrats on getting your film made. Filmmaking is hard and often chaotic. Our hope is that this site helps creators stand out and get discovered more easily. There is incredible work out there, and too much of it gets lost in the noise.
What we look for:
- Horror, thriller, or genre-focused shorts
- Strong atmosphere or concept
- Clear storytelling or mood
- Original work from independent creators
