“There’s so many influences with The Man from the Future,” says Sam Rockwell of his time-traveling character. “Everything from Beetlejuice, Chris Lloyd from Back to the Future. He’s that prototype of the kooky professor.”

The sci-fi action comedy lands in theaters on February 13 via Briarcliff Entertainment.
