Netflix’s ‘Wednesday’ Season 3 Won’t Arrive in 2026

Eva Green was recently announced as part of season three’s cast for the popular Netflix series “Wednesday,” but don’t expect the new season to arrive this year.

“Wednesday” was noticeably absent on Netflix’s announcement of their 2026 TV slate this morning. 

That shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, considering the gothic supernatural series is one of Netflix’s more elaborate productions. “Wednesday” season two arrived almost three years after the first, also partially impacted by the 2023 strikes in Hollywood. Netflix’s #1 most watched series premiered in 2022.

The series received its season three renewal months ahead of season two’s premiere, and production is rumored to begin next month for a 2027 debut.

In the latest season of the Netflix series, “Nevermore is back in session as Wednesday tangles with a new principal, a devious campus stalker, and a waning grip on her psychic powers.”

Creator/showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return for the spine-tingling second season of “Wednesday,” alongside executive producer and director Tim Burton.
