Fox has released the official trailer for “Fear Factor: The Next Chapter,” a reboot of the reality competition series hosted by “Jackass” star Johnny Knoxville.

In this version, a group of strangers are dropped into a remote location to live together and face mind-blowing stunts, harrowing challenges, and a twisted game of social strategy where trust is fleeting — and fear is a weapon.

Only one contestant conquers all their fears and walks away with the grand prize: $200,000.

As one player says in the trailer, “It’s ‘Fear Factor’ on steroids.”
