‘Send Help’ Earns Sam Raimi’s First R Rating in 25 Years!
Sam Raimi‘s Send Help has been rated R by the MPA for “strong/bloody violence and language.”
This marks the director’s first R rating since 2000’s The Gift. All of his films in the 25 years since — the Spider-Man trilogy, Drag Me to Hell, Oz the Great and Powerful, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness — have been PG-13.
Early sneak preview screenings of Send Help will take place on January 24 before the survival thriller hits theaters and 3D on January 30 via 20th Century Studios.
