Under Paris 2, the sequel to Netflix’s 2024 hit Seine-set shark thriller, has begun shooting in the South of France with Alexandre Aja in the director’s seat, reports Deadline.

Expectations are high for the production, notes the site, which surprisingly remains the second-most-popular non-English-language film on Netflix, with more than 102 million views, according to the streamer’s own data.
